Network with 40 top IT journalists at Kickstart Asia 2007
MediaConnect's Kickstart Asia Forum 2007 is just around the corner and now is the time to act to secure your companies position at the event.
The event this year will be held July 26-28 and it will return to the popular Nirwana Gardens, Bintan, Indonesia venue.
"We had high satisfaction ratings with our Forums last year, and we expect that to be backed up by a very high return rate for past participants at this event", said Glen Myles, MediaConnect Asia's managing director.
Vendors who are interested in participating should contact Glen Myles at glen@mediaconnectasia.com or on (65) 6259 2195 as soon as possible. No single session has sold-out yet, so there is still a chance to get a spot in any of the sessions. There is also currently an opportunity to sponsor one of the event's famous gala dinners.
Myles said the benefits of Kickstart - which focuses on media education and networking - were now well-accepted within the Asian ICT community.
"Those vendors that invest in getting to know the media and helping them to understand why their strategies are important, ahead of announcements and launches, always get far greater pickup and results than companies who try to do it on the fly," Myles said.
"Education and networking has always been a key element of all effective media relations campaigns because of the complexity of the information being presented, but with journalists so time-pressed and increasingly tied to their desks and phones, it's not easy to do.
"That's exactly the reason Kickstart was created: to help journalists, in a very short amount of time, get to know the industry better and update their knowledge base and contact books. At the same time, vendors get the precious opportunity to meet the media, get to know them and best position themselves for future, ongoing public relations activities.
"The win-win nature of the event, for both the journalist and vendor/PR communities, is really the reason this event has become so popular."
